EL PASO, TEXAS

would you believe? this was taken in the winter. the hedge to the right is pyracanthia (pyra-panther) as a friend calls it. this was how the hedge had been left to grow at the time we bought the house. the branches grew straight up and were higher than the house. shades of sleeping beauty. always remember, cut the branches up as soon as you can. the canes will turn to steel in a few days and be nearly impossible to cut.
